Where to begin. Honestly, this school is a bit of mess, kind of in shambles. For starters, the registrar here is COMPLETELY inept. I am currently in the process of trying to transfer away from this college due to how horrible it is, and the registrar lacks the ability to send my transcript via the common application despite the fact that Stephens USES the common app. I applied to Stephens using it! I don't understand why they can't scan my transcript into a PDF and upload it to send it there. Instead they mail it, which is inefficient and undesired.

The financial aid office isn't helpful either. If they need to speak with you, they send you an email saying you must be in their offices that day between a certain time or faces severe charges to your account. They don't give you forewarning or consider the fact that you might have class at that time, they give you an ultimatum. Why would they email you the day of? Without warning or thought for your own time constraints? This whole administration is disorganized.

The food service is terrible. Very few vegetarian options, inedible meat options, just gross. Nothing to eat, I am constantly hungry.

Facilities is slow to repair anything. There are four severe leaks in my building that they refuse to attempt to fix despite the growing damage they cause.

Some of the professors are sweet and smart and great, but a great many are selfish, ignorant, biased, and again, inept.

I get all A's here, I am a good student, so I am not just some person feeling jilted here. This college seriously needs to get it together. Their retention rate is very low and the registrar being idiotic makes it near to impossible to leave.

The security here is really good though. That I will say.

Also, the community views Stephens as a women's college that churns out astounding feminists and I for one can tell you, there are few feminists on campus, women's studies is only offered as a minor, and even then, because so few people sign up for those courses, they are most often cancelled, which makes the minor near to impossible to fulfill. If you are interested in women's studies, don't come here. Many of the girls here are sexist and unaware.
