I'm currently a freshmen at Lasell. I would say the school is a lot different from when you first see it. The classes are good, and the professors are really interesting, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The students here are mixed with some chill people, but then there are also snotty, stuck up, rich girls/guys. The atmosphere is really welcoming and friendly, however. The food is average—better than some schools, worse than others. It's obviously a REALLY small school, which means there aren't as many options, as if you were to go to a big school, where there are restaurants and coffee shops all around their dining hall. The safety of the school is great, I've always felt safer here than anywhere else. The social aspect of Lasell can mix with good and bad things. There are some good parties, and then there are some really bad ones. Either way, wherever the party is, it's gonna be about 100 degrees. The cops don't really do much either, which is a good thing.I would say the worst part about the school is the social aspect and how ridiculously small it is. You'll find good amount of kids who come from rich families, who are spoiled rotten and just rude (mostly the girls). But if you look hard enough, you'll find some really good, life-long friends.Lasell is the type of school where if you don't put any positive effort in, you're gonna just be negative and miserable. There's always something to do, if you look for it. I hear a lot of people say that after your freshmen year, it gets a lot better, and much more fun.
