Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I did enjoy my time at this school. The instructors are good and the way this school prepares you for the real world is good. I now have a very good job in the city. There are many pros and cons about this school so lets begin:

The Pros:

  • Hands on programs
  • Best Fashion and Graphic Design programs
  • people care about you
  • they help you build a portfolio which is VERY important for a job
  • VERY good fashion connections and internships
  • for what the school is there are very good programs and you DO learn things.
  • if you fail they kick you out.
  • for this type of degree you are only here for a year which is good.
  • the price is not that bad.
  • **NOTE it does NOT matter where you go to school. This is basically just like any other school you go to. You have to work hard to get internships and get a job. If you have the talent and build a strong portfolio, you will get your foot in the door fast. If you are NOT good in the arts, do not come here. Students here think things can just be handed to them. I ONLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL FOR FASHION/GRAPHIC DESIGN.

    The Cons:

  • most of the credits do NOT transfer to other schools and it is very hard to transfer to a better school but I believe you can transfer to FIT (you only need a hs diploma and a portfolio to get in there) or Parsons (parsons only wants your money) If I knew before hand and listened to people that it was not a transferrable program I would not have done it. So if you want to get a bachelors degree save money and go to a community college then transfer to a state school. If you have no other choice go here. I was told the credits transfer I was upset that they lied to me.
  • the students are unmotivated and don't care to do the work and complain about why they are paying so much money.
  • it's hard to make friends here since the school is so small.
  • There are some students here that are full of themselves/lie and their work sucks.
  • some of the comments on this site looks like they were written by someone on that works at the school.
  • I am very impressed about the job experience that I got from this school. Because of this school I am better at design and more motivated for the real world. Thanks people of Wood-Tobe for helping me get a good job. Overall I give Wood-Tobe an A+ for the work experience they helped me get! :D
