Perfectly described! The amount of fake positive reviews posted by staff is disturbing. They removed almost all of the bad reviews on Google Maps. |
Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
As a female student who completed her Master's in the Fall Semester 2013, I would like to provide some valuable and personal information. First, the classes are small and professors are flexible. Most classes are offered online which is very convenient to those who work full-time or are parents. Those are the aspects that I appreciated very much. Unfortunately this school has great and engaging professors and mediocre ones as well. Throughout my Bachelor's and Master's program, I had the opportunity to have intelligent, creative, engaging, and understanding professors that cared about their students and their progress and professors that have full-time jobs at other institutions and teach at CAU as a source of extra income. These are the ones that make class boring and a complete waste of time. Then as a student you have to deal with the incompetent, arrogant, unhelpful, and nonchalant attitude from the numerous staff members at financial aid, registrar, and finance. I have endured several negative experiences from those three departments. Emails go unanswered, phone calls are rerouted to voicemails, issues are ignored, etc. These are the individuals that receive a salary to assist students and yet are annoyed when asked to do so. I would advise that employees at CAU should attend annual customer service skills improvement classes. It is greatly recommended. All I have to say is that I am relieved that I no longer have to deal with anymore staff members at CAU!
