I can't recommend going to DIT over most state universities. The cost is too high and the Game 200 through 400 classes take over the campus work space leaving other students to do assignments off campus. Many off the mid level classes like to meaning you pay thousands for a class that won't teach you much and doesn't adequately prepare you for doing the assignments. Also the curriculum is too focused and lacks any general education classes that may sound good but the CS coursework his focus mostly on C and C++ and doesn't leave a lot of time for studying other programming languages. The CS department gets bye depending on the students who already have a good deal of programming experience before attending DIT.The campus is small and over crowded, they do not offer online classes even though most classes have an online component. You are better off going to a state university.
