Please, please think it over carefully before attending VSU! Hopefully, you will find that it is the school for you, but it was not a good choice for me.

Positive: Most of the professors seemed to have a genuine interest in the students.

Negative: A disproportionate number of students appear to be juvenile and unmotivated.—DON'T BE FOOLED BY A GLOSSY, WELL-CRAFTED BROCHURE—THROUGHLY CHECK THE SCHOOL OUT IN PERSON.—BEFORE making a decision to attend, visit the campus (if at all feasible) on two or three occasions during the normal school year. In order to get a feel for the campus: (1) visit on a weekday while students are on campus (2) observe the campus on a weeknight and (3) visit on a Friday or Saturday night.

Also, make sure you select a major in which you can have a reasonable opportunity to earn a lucrative income.
