Numerous times while walking by classrooms between classes, I saw numerous private lesson teachers eating, texting, using their cell phones instead of being focuses on their students. Longy sure charges a lot of tuition so why do they hire teachers that act like that? If a student started texting during their lesson while their teacher was trying to help them, they most likely would be reported to the a—hole dean. But why is it all right for their main teachers to do this and what their tuition dollars?

This is Longy in a nutshell. Do yourself a favor and don't bother even auditioning for the school. There are plenty of better schools.

And now they send alumni all sorts of requests for money for their stupid El Sistema program! How delusional is the administration! I already donated Longy plenty of money when I made my tuition payments. I do not think Longy comes close to being worth the money they charge for tuition, so why would I give them any more money when there are plenty of organizations who truly deserve help? Although Longy seemed quite able to find money to pay attorneys for certain lawsuits….

At least Julie Scolnik is no longer teaching there. When I had her she was a flake with the maturity of a 12 year old and spent most of the lesson time on her cell, eating, filing her nails, and looking at herself in her compact. Who knows the real reason she is no longer employed by Longy, but maybe they fired her to help the school move in a more positive direction.

At the moment, our whole family is thinking about where to send our child to study.
