Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
Texas A&M at Galveston is one of only six maritime academies. If seeking a well-paying career, then marine transportation is a great major to consider. There is also marine biology and marine science. They are fun majors, especially since the campus is right on the ocean. The campus is not a pretty sight to see. The only thing that makes it exciting is that it is located on it's own little island, surrounded by water. Semi-nice beaches are close by. The buildings and dorms are just concrete facilities. The dorms are way over priced for what you get. They are not cozy at all. They are, however, in the process of building new corp dorms. They just built some new non-corp dorms a few years back, but they are too expensive for the size.
