I was the biggest advocate for Ramapo College, always defending the school when it was being trash talked. If you plan on coming here strictly for the academics then the school is great. I am a sophomore now and can honestly say my freshman year was great. The people here are wonderful and the social aspect was great. Ramapo recently cracked down on their policies and nothing goes on around campus. To the extent that students were being broken up if they stood in too big of groups on a certain part of campus. My 3 very close friends who are all athletes, are giving up their love to play their sport, and are all transferring. Ramapo, you have so much potential but our administration is running the school into the ground in too many ways. The rules and restrictions on everything now are suffocating and feel like I am in high school again. I do not feel like I am treated as an individual here, every student is just one in the same.
