Bob Jones is a great Christian university with high academic standards. Though they are not regionally accredited, their graduates have been accepted at graduate schools throughout the country. They also have high standards for student conduct. One obstacle to some girls is that they are required to wear dresses or skirts. They also have strict music standards. You can read the student handbook at bju.edu and decide whether their standards are ones that you can live with.

Well, I took your advice and read not only BJU's handbook, but their website. So pretty much all modern music is banned, the "wrong" movies and video games are banned, leaving campus anytime I please is banned, and I have to dress according to a rigid standard set by BJU. Also, I can be disciplined or possibly even expelled for "holding false philosophical or moral views". No. I don't think their standards are ones I can live with, and for that matter, neither can most of this planet. For which I'm grateful.

You are right that this school is not for the majority of people. It is most likely to appeal to conservative Christians.

I would say it's actually somewhat different from that. Yes, BJU is most likely to appeal to conservative Christians. But I'm a conservative Christian and I can't stand BJU at all. BJU will most appeal to a specific type of conservative Christian- VERY conservative Christian- namely, the type who founded BJU in the first place.

I know someone who used to be on the admissions board for some part of VCU's graduate college. BJU had a "reputation" and they were always careful when reviewing applications from them- not least because of the school's decades-long refusal to get regionally accredited.

My experience at Bob Jones University helped with academic preparation in engineering, mathematics, writing cbd oil for stress relief and communication skills, and a reasonable approach to economics and politics. The faculty and fellow students at BJU really helped me.
