Gorgeous, safe campus with helpful professors and advisors. True bottom line of balance due comes very late and is a frustrating process. Very unclear till last minute. Being an avid athlete my entire life, I worked for and planned to play a varsity sport and I was lined up to be a starter at Berry. Like the college and campus, I expected a warm, welcoming, Christian, responsible, respectful conduct of team members and the coach. Not at all what I experienced. No control. No leadership. No healthy and positive team spirit at all. I resigned my position rather than be exposed to an inappropriate, off color environment. Stunned and disappointed. Not at all what I expected. Very disappointing. Campus beautiful, but very boring without a sports family. Very safe transition to college from private school, but incredibly gorgeous, but boring campus. I'm transferring. Had my varsity sport had leadership and character, I would have probably stayed two years… maybe the full four, but it was a sad experience. I was trusting and very let down by the lack of character.
