I'm going to give it to you straight: there are two main issues that decide whether your educational experience was successful or not. First: the cost, second: the quality. The cost of this school is very, very high. The admissions tour guide will straight up LIE about the college. Ignore everything they say. Unless it's in writing WITH signatures: it hold zero weight. Wilson will boast of scholarships, grants, and work study positions, but the reality is that a day or two before classes begin- you'll get an email saying you don't have enough money and one tearfully panicked visit to their office later: they've talked you into getting student loans and maxing them out or mommy/daddy/grandparents are shelling out $$$ or cosigning on loans.

Administration/Business Office/Financial Aid are inadequate to say the least. I've never, ever, received a bill that was correct. And I'm ashamed to say that they pressured me into paying illegal and unfair charges. The lack of communication between offices/departments is so awful that it's almost hilarious. YOU MUST STAY ON THEM. PERIOD. Forget about making friends with them- they'll treat you badly and you'll fight like hell to get errors corrected and fair/equal treatment. Now, the quality of the education is on par. The faculty are some of the best you'll work with for this price tag. P.S. They hate Wilson, too.

Everything else, cafeterias, libraries, peer clubs, dorms, etc. are secondary. They've improved since going co-ed- but they're no Duke or GWU.

The WWC program, if you are interested in this program, is the closest thing to prison that you'll ever (hopefully) experience. Constant monitoring, constant catty moms and their equally scrappy kids,…just. No. Run.
