Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
I am a first year out of state student at Sarah Lawrence College. While registering, the school was not upfront about costs and would not provide accurate or consistent answers to me and my family. It is astronomically expensive. Because I live so far from the school I did not see the campus before hand. The buildings are old and decrepit. There are cracks in the walls of my dorm, no vents or air conditioning, and some buildings reek of mold. You only get 3 classes. I found this very limiting, especially considering the probability that you wont get what you sign up for. Almost none of the classes have any practical application or job related skills. Classes are not graded, which makes it very hard to assess your performance. The curriculum is mainly just reading and then discussing that reading. I do not feel that this helped me learn anything I could/would not have learned on my own. Over all I was completely dissatisfied with my experience and decided to transfer.
