If you want a very expensive overpriced nursing program that is not worth the price then come here to cedar crest college. Where they boast about their high but not the highest nclex pass rate in comparison to the area. Where they only care about money and charging you for everything under the sun to drain your funds, then encourage you to come back for their masters program despite failing most students all with money you don't have this place is perfect. Where they are arrogant enough to crap on other nursing programs in the area except for the ones that have higher passing rates and throw that in your face. Where they focus in very heavily on the stupid stuff like apa format or nitpick on grammar all of which will never save your patient I'm real life. Where they say part time program but you are there everyday of the week. Where nurses eat their young and where tests are impossible hard but the teaching nowhere matches the test difficulty and where everyone is an expert but no one knows how to teach and lastly where everyone is an expert on apa format but not content. Perfect nursing program.

responseI have to totally agree with this post regarding the CCC Nursing Program. I am currently in the program just finishing up junior year. I cannot say I am looking forward to senior year. The school cares more about their NCLEX rate than helping students make it through the program. Majority of students who do not make it through the program do so because of minor APA issues in assignments and YES, lots of busy work. We have even had APA related assignment grades held until after final exams which have made the majority of students feel it is done purposely to make or break your grade. Instructors rely on power points for lecture and forget about learning skills. You are expected to teach yourself skills via videos on ATI which do not even match scenarios you are expected to videotape and submit. Yes, that is how you learn your skills. How about putting more time into teaching a Nursing student skills rather than APA style. CCC may boast about their NCLEX pass rate but never advertise the fact that out of 60 students less than 20 actually graduate. The tuition for the Nursing Program is outrageous for the services received. The older instructors bully the adjunt faculty who ultimately end up leaving instead of advocating on behalf of their students. A clinical day easily turns into a 16hr day with the amount of prep you are required to do before clinical day. The SAGE program advertises an evening/weekend program but there are many experiences requiring you to attend during the day, so never mind your daytime work schedules, that is not a factor they consider. If I had the choice to transfer easily into another Nursing Program and not have to start over or extend the time it will take to finish I would do so in a heartbeat. I find myself recommending others seeking Nursing education to look elsewhere because it is really only approximately 15 out of 60 students who actually make it through the program. Even those with great potential starting with 4.0 GPAs easily fail out of the program during the first sememster. The CCC Nursing Program was recently reviewed for accreditation renewal and it was obvious many students (especially student nurse association) were coached into what to say and we were warned that it was not a venting session because if the school loses accreditation it will affect us more than them. So unless you are a very self-sufficient, self-starter and self-disciplined person who does not find it difficult to teach themselves, then CCC is for you!!
