Mount Ida is a small school and because it's small you know most kids on campus and the professors know who you are. It is close to Boston, so it is easy to get into the city whenever you want. We are also close to Newton Center if you have to go pick up a prescription or some groceries it is easy to do so. While the college is nice and quaint it is expensive to go here and there can be some problems for the kids that go here in dorm rooms. For instance, one of the resident halls, Wingate, has had water shut off a few times already this year and kids were left with no water to shower, or flush toilets. Not that this can't happen at any college. My opinion would be to make sure you want a small school and that you know you are responsible for how your college experience goes, it's not just the professors, or other residents job to make you happy here.
