Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Valparaiso University is an excellent school. While many people may think that just because it is smaller and not well known outside the US, the truth of the matter is that this school provides you with everything you need for a stellar education. I am an electrical engineer, so I can only speak for the engineering department, but I have spoken to many other students of different majors who agree with me on these statements: faculty care about your education, you are challenged enough to understand coursework and real-world application of material, the campus, while small, offers a good variety of things to do, and people are friendly. I would say these are the main pros of the university that are prominent across all majors and parts of the university. Honestly, even though its a lot of work, I am learning a lot and feel like I am being prepared for my future career which is the whole point of college! I am very glad that I chose Valpo; I honestly can't picture myself anywhere else!
