I did not have a good experience at CLU. I transferred after my first year. There were not many opportunities to get involved on campus or fun things to do. Most people were commuters, or dormed during the week but went home on the weekends. I had an awful, nightmarish roommate experience and found it hard to make friends. There are not many parties or things for college students to do in the surrounding area. I found some people to be close-minded. The schoolwork was not very challenging. The campus seemed empty and a lot of people seemed unhappy. In my opinion, it is not a true college experience and I had the worst year of my life there. I'm happy for everyone who enjoys CLU, but it wasn't the school for me.
