One more thing that I feel is important to note!

I stated in my previous review that I overall did not enjoy SMC, felt that they are running low on financial resources, not using their full potential, and I would not recommend unless you are like me and cannot afford to go anywhere else.

HOWEVER, one of the biggest positives that I forgot is the alumnae network. The experience sucks, but it seems that after you put in your four years of dealing with it, the network is very helpful. Belles love other belles. At my graduate school reception, one of the directors came and found me in a very crowded room just to ask me if I went to Saint Mary's. When I said yes, she said "I did too. If you ever need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out. There's three of us here and we would be more than happy and willing to help you. Job interviews, advice, networking; you name it and we can help you". Another person I know got a job at a law firm as an assistant just because she was a Belle and eventually worked her way up to getting her JD and becoming a very successful lawyer in Chicago. This is the biggest positive I have seen as I approach graduation, and I appreciate all of the previous Belles who have ever helped me and may help me in the future. It is great to feel welcome no matter where I go.
