UD has a very good marketing department. The campus is very nice and the ?climate? is friendly. Do not be fooled. Everything at UD is designed to get you to part with your money. If you are not an international student, be prepared to be marginalized since you don?t come with government backed full tuition attached. I personally saw a student given an individual class - literally a class of one so that they could pass before going back to the Middle East. The engineering labs are a joke and such a waste of time that the professors don?t even bother to stay more than 15 minutes. The Makerspace is some remedial shop class that is part of the ?hands on? learning that nobody uses unless a class requires it. I?ve also been told that the students that go to UD are academically weak which is why the university focuses on community rather than academic rigor. I was also an employee of UD but got my first undergraduate degree from a better school and I can definitely tell the difference. UD is very good at making you feel good but not so great at imparting academic knowledge.
