Date: Mar 14 2001 Major: English (This Major's Salary over time) As a high school teacher, I recommend Allegheny College to all of my students. In my mind, there are no drawbacks to an Allegheny education. Classes are challenging, rigorous and informative. Professors are knowledgable, caring and supportive. Students are treated as intelligent adults from the day they enroll. The most valuable benefit of Allegheny, however, is the foundation it builds, helping to shape young adults into motivated, giving, intellectually-active adults who contribute to society. Regardless of specific area of career interest, Allegheny provides students with the tools necessary to develop themselves academically and socially. My advice to high school and college students is to become actively involved in both their classes and the social opportunites that Allegheny offers.
