Date: May 08 2001 Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time) I feel my St. Thomas education has served me well. Most of my professors were good, if not great, teachers. The core requirements resulted in a much better education than some of my friends who went to the ivies. Best of all, a top-rated graduate school accepted me.In my day, however, the placement programs (outside of the business majors) were not very helpful. Socially, the students tend to be a bit homogenous. But, if you look, the school has diverse pockets. If you aren't Catholic, don't let the fact that St. Thomas is Catholic deter you. The theology classes provide excellent intellectual training, and there are plenty of options for a variety of religious studies.
