Date: Jul 12 2001 Major: Religion/Religious (This Major's Salary over time) As an educationsl consultant, I would recommend that students thoroughly research the colleges to which they are applying before submitting their applications. Also, I would urge any bright young woman to consider a women's college - the advantages are myriad. For example, women who graduate from women's colleges are represented disproportionately in traditionally male-dominated fields and go on in greater numbers than their co-ed counterparts to graduate and professional schools.Bryn Mawr's statistics are staggering: It is first in the nation for percentage of students who earn doctoral degress in the humanities and third in all fields. It is among the top ten institutions in the nation with the highest percentage of winners of the National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowships. It graduates more than 20 time the national average of women physics majors, and three to five times as many women majors in the sciences.
