Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
As a Psychology major at Stony Brook, I've found that the professors are particularly helpful. They're really great in their fields and know the right direction to point you for whatever field of psychology you want to get into. The requirements for a psychology major are a bit too heavy of a course load though. The best part is the number of research opportunities available to students. I'm going to be a sophomore and I have a research position with a great professor this coming semester.
