Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
If you are a STEM major, you will feel SOME sort of depression during your time at Stony Brook. Housing: depending on your housing you could live in a small, not well lit room. Heat doesn't start until November so expect your room to be cold until then. Some rooms are hot. Again STEM, classes are hard and the fact that everyone is antisocial adds to the negative feelings. I was never depressed until I came here. You will encounter either shy/friendly or arrogant/friendly students. Professors/Ta are friendly and some are helpful, however it is the luck of the draw especially for LAB work. I was excited to come here as a Freshman, but as a senior, I regret choosing this school.
