Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
Although the university is well located, the surrounding city is pathetic at best. Coming from out of state(Colorado), I've been extremely spoiled in the city life department. Oklahoma City has Bricktown to offer, a good time…for the first month. Surroundings aside, UCO has many good programs, extremely efficient, competitive ones. However, the Biology department is not one of them. I feel that I am not being completely prepared to be completely aggresive in the application process for medical school. My suggestion is to do your research before coming. If you are interested in Criminal Justice, Funeral Sciences or Business, definitely take a second look. But if another school tickles your fancy, jump at the oppurtunity to get away from UCO.
