This is an absolutely wonderful school. It is small, but there are so many benefits because of it. Many faculty members knew my name after the first year, even if they never had me in class. Most of the faculty really cares about students. Some eat in the dining hall regularly, and they make themselves available to students. For people who think that their isn't anything to do on campus—they obviously do not put themselves out there and join events and clubs. It's very easy to be busy on campus with classwork, work, clubs, and activities. Yes, there are things that need to be fixed, but all schools have problems. With all of the requirements, I have already become a more well rounded student after one year. I couldn't imagine going to a large university where I am just a number in the student population. At Saint Joe's, I am a person that feels valued.
