Before you enroll at Iona - and start paying the high tuition rates - think twice. Paying $50,000 to attend Iona, is like paying $50,000 for a KIA - cheap car.If you pay a rate of $50,000 annual tuition, as a resident, don't you want a College that functions and runs like a Beemer or Benz? Iona, inside, runs like a piece of junk, that's why I'm leaving - to attend a university that runs like a successful business. Like other posters have commented - Iona runs in reverse.I can honestly tell you, I didn't do my homework. I wanted to attend a small college close to NYC. I wasn't looking at the inside, just the cover, and once the tuition bills and fees started to appear on my credit card, I woke up. I realized I'm wasting so much money on a cheap car - with no gas or oil in in - that's Iona to me. I enrolled in a college - with a high ranking and quality education. I had no extra money to go to the city at Iona - paying those rates. To me, Iona is a joke - it's like a bad high school. Do your homework, visit- sit in classes at many colleges before you make your final decision and compare. Before you buy a car, you test drive it - and compare features - do this before you enroll at Iona. Don't waste your money on an under-rated school. The tour guides paint a wonderful picture, but the picture isn't perfect at Iona - far from it.
