This school is just too new yet.Quite BrightPolitical Science
This school is just too new yet. That and that fact that it's VERY money hungry. If you have money to waste on nothing but an ok time of drinking in your dorm room with your RA then come on down. The teachers that I have had in the Poli Sci dept are great, CJ teachers are good too, other than that I can't say too much except don't expect helpfulness or class. Everyone (including faculty) think they are better than you and they'll let you know. The housing dept is by far the worst part of SHU. No one here really cares about you, your needs, or your happiness, they just want your money. I had a better, happier, and more productive time in my public high school then I have at 3 yrs in the private university. It's a real joke. If you brave the journey here - good luck. I would wait till at least 2050 before anything decent comes out of the school.

Question
This University is all about money.BrightAccounting
This University is all about money. Eevery little thing is accounted for and every department tries to capitalize to get every penny out of every student. Parents are starting to realize it too as many more are coming forward with issues reguarding basically every aspect of this so called University. This University is on the downfall fast, and I predict will fall into a league like University of Bridgeport has. Once a renowned University, now a dump. Myself, as well as many others have taken the next step in informing everyone we know looking at this college to step in another direction. Right now I am responsible for three people changing their minds after getting accepted here and it is a great feeling. I wish I knew what I do know now abou thtis place when I first applied.

Question
Surely you jest.Quite BrightPsychology
Surely you jest... to the below poster you are in honors, thus you must be fairly intelligent. Why not look elsewhere? You are a freshmen though so give it time. I am a sophomore and only here for athletic reasons. However, I am running away as fast as possible. If you take the time to visit and compare this school to others you will see just how much of a small little suitcase school this is with an ugly campus, apathethic student body, and just a high school feel to it. Now maybe that's your (not directed to anyone) thing but its not mine.... im merely deciding between fairfield and binghamton for transfer bc in terms of adequete preparation for masters and doctoral programs this place just wont cut it.
