Question
Run, do not walk, away from this place.Art & Design Department
Run, do not walk, away from this place. It's an over-priced paper mill.
The living conditions are horrible, the city of Hartford is in a downward spiral, hard crime is rampant. The student population is made up of some of the smallest-minded folks I've ever had the pleasure to forget. The campus is so depressing that it actually (IMHO) creates alcoholics. And not the fun-loving, dance-party kind. I mean the kind that end up bloated and miserable, drinking cheap vodka at 8am in a coffee cup.

You'd do better to apply to a community college. Save your money, get a financial advisor, and use your talents to get a job that's worthwhile.I hated this place so much that I still have bad dreams about not having enough credits to graduate. I won't even drive past the place. Consider yourself warned.

Question
This school is small and is a gatedQuite BrightPolitical Science
This school is small and is a gated community yet it is right next to a very large city. The contrast is so important to me so I don't graduate feeling that I should have went to school in a city or vice versa. In order to have a good campus experience, students individually involve themselves. University of Hartford has so many interesting clubs and activities. Every night of the week something is happening on campus. It?s a matter of being open minded and taking the college experience as a whole in order to enjoy it to the fullest.
