Queen's is an excellent school with a lot of history and school spirit. The professors here are excellent in that they aren't just the top professors in Canada, but are also some of the best teachers in the world. They emphasize on your education and help you towards achieving your goals. They are always available out of class hours and really go the extra mile in helping you with explanation of assignments and projects.

My four years at Queen's have been the best four years of my life! The Commerce Program is certainly a challenging course load, but the opportunities to get involved, the small class sizes, the career opportunities and the spirit of the program make it totally worthwhile. I was also able to participate in an exchange to France last year, as the majority of third-year Commerce students do go on exchange somewhere in the world.
All in all, Queen's is great, and the Queen's School of Business is even better!

Queen's is a really great school. I love college here in Canada! Although sometimes I wonder whether some take this to the extreme. You cannot compare Queen's to the top universiities in the United States.

The GOOD things:
-Excellent reputation the "Harvard of the North" really does open doors and gain recognition.

-Intellectual people... there are bright and interesting students and profs at this university- no question about that.

-location- although Kingston is small for anyone that doesn't come from a rural setting it is in close proximity to toronto, ottawa and montreal which makes roadtripping and going home a feasible option for many ontario students.

the BAD things:
- rich kids- yes, every stereotype you have heard about private schools, WASPs, image and lack of real diversity is all true. I wouldn't say these kids rule campus life, but they certainly are present make no mistake about that.

-residence- we pay one of the highest residence fees in ontario for crap! sure, watts is nice but the older residences are terrible, plus the food is appalling. Despite the constant pressure of students to re-vamp the current meal plan/ dining facilities, nothing is being done.
