University of Georgia, founded in 1785, is a public university.
Programs are offered through the Colleges of Agricultural and Environmental
Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Family and Consumer Sciences,
Journalism and Mass Communication, Pharmacy, and Veterinary Medicine; the Schools
