Horrible instructors in MathAverageCriminal
Horrible instructors in Math and Physics and athgleticv epartment is the worst ever. Go to Colleg of DuPage if you ca since they are more understanding about students who need to work to got to college. the quality of profesors is much higher there as well.

Question
Twice now I haveOther
Twice now I have graduated from programs at JJC, and both times I have been told that my degree and certification were meaningless. Then to top it off, JJC sued me over 200 bucks that i owed the bookstore. Now I know why people think college is a scam.

Question
JJC did it's job, I got my genBrightEducation
JJC did it's job, I got my gen eds done in two years for cheap. However, I am one of those students who really feels they missed out on the college experience. I barely made new friends, and I'm outgoing and personable, the same applies to some of my friends who also attend and the few friends I made at JJC.

Parking sucks, attendance policies suck, I-80 during the fall and spring sucks. The teachers are okay, really take time to look them up on ratemyprofessor.com! Stay away from Brattoli for ANY english course, she is the witch of the west for sure. But anyways, I've had some nice and even easy professors at JJC.

The education program is very beginner but that's all it can be, the classes can be a bit dry but they serve their purpose. Tests are a bit challenging, but if you do the available study guides, you'll succeed! Keep due dates in mind and always do your assignments and keep up with the work. Krause and Vietez (sp?) are great education teachers!

Campus is ugly. It IS currently under construction, but still the whole area is quite boring. No outside common area or mock 'quad', which would be really awesome..but no jjc does not have that. The bridge is so annoying and I hate walking on it, due to the loud and obnoxious kareoke days and other random jjc sponsored 'events'. Another thing I absolutely depised the brudge for is the people who sit on it, the disgusting guys who think it's okay to whistle at girls or make innappropriate comments to them.

I kept my headphones in when walking to classes, never had a break between classes over 20 minutes, and knew where to hide from the obnoxious people during my short breaks. Me, little suburban white girl, does not like to be harassed by ghetto folk.

Fitness center is a joke, not like an 'rec' I've seen at multiple universities, and you have to pay to use it and often take a class where you have to work out so many hours a week in the outdated gym that everyone can peer into as they walk by. Not my thing, no thank you!Overall, JJC isn't horrible but def. look into the teachers you'll be taking classes with and seek out the normal people of JJC! Good luck, and do what I do, get in and get out as FAST as possible :D
