Simon's Rock was great. If you work hard, you'll do well. The small size means that faculty will sing the Gospel of You very effectively if you apply to grad/transfer. Has some social peculiarities, but it can be a great stepping stone.
After 2 years, transferred to Ivy. After graduating Ivy, offered many competitive graduate opportunities (at HYP-level institutions). Fellow classmates in my cohort received very competitive transfer opportunities, and recently, graduate opportunities. The Simon's Rock pedigree was well respected from my dealings with admissions circles, and often categorized with other exotic/experimental colleges (like Deep Springs).
It's a phenomenal place (with phenomenal placement) if you make the most of it. If you don't, then shame on you.

Going to this school was one of the worse decisions I ever made. The staff is completely unprofessional. Grades are based on how much professors like you as a person (and most staff end up here on account of idiosyncrasies). The student body is actually extremely immature. A lot of kids land here after being kicked out of high schools, dropping out or are running away from something. If you want a fulfilling academic experience look elsewhere.

This college really teaches a person how to write even if you don't like writing. I love how organized the school is. I didn't realize that until I went for my next two years at an Ivy League College. I am in a 3/2 Engineering Program. Simon's Rock is an excellent school.
