Question
I selected Bowdoin and it has been oneBrightBiology
I selected Bowdoin and it has been one of the best decisions in my life. I was accepted to many great schools but in the end selected Bowdoin for many reasons. The student body and faculty are friendly and helpful. People you havent met yet come up to you and create conversation. The classes are challenging and prepare you for whats out there however you do not feel overly burdened or overwhelmed. The sciences are amazing! You will not get a better preparation for a science field than you will here. Campus activities are amazing. I am not a drinker and you never feel odd not drinking here. Everyone respects your decision and there are many students that choose not to drink. There is a club for everyone and you can create one as well. Food is awesome! You never feel like you are eating the same thing over and over...a great variety. I am not too into athletics but even if you just want to be a spectator it is so much fun to cheer the teams on. The new fitness center is going to be amazing, with yoga classes, massage and all kinds of excercise machines...I can't wait for it to open! The dorms are wonderful! They are bigger and they really know how to pair you with your roommates. I have had wonderful experiences with my roomies to date and have made some of the best friends of my life. For anyone who is unsure of Bowdoin just do it! This place is full of amazing and wonderful people, classes, programs and everything not to mention the town of brunswick is safe and has so many fun things to do in it and within a stone's throw from it! Wheather you like beaches, shopping, the outdoors, eating out, activities, etc. you will find it here and nearby....I love this place.
