I attended the University of New England last year and all I can say is that it was a complete waste of time. This school is a complete joke to me. They are currently spending all this money to have more students come in and attend the school admitting almost anyone with a pulse. Anyone I feel like can get into this school, because they don't care anymore.
The school is a joke if you are not in a medical program that is all the school is geared too. So I don't understand why they act like its not, I was in the OT program which I enjoyed but if I went any other route it would of been a joke. The classes that I had to take offered me no challenge whats so ever, and the social life is a joke. Unless you want to be drinking with the hockey team on weekends. Parties are confined to rooms, the people who attend this school fit in two catorgories. Mainers, and outsiders. There is rarely any diversity, no social life and Biddeford is the worst town in Maine. Unless you have a car and are going into a med program DON'T ATTEND HERE.UNE just cares about your money now. Not the individual.

Fantastic campus at a great location. You can walk to everything. OT and PT majors were highly competitive. Chemistry and Physics teachers attempted to weed out those who needed it. Dorms are OK, activities were great. Even in the 80's we only had 3 smokers on the entire campus.

Get a car otherwise you will be stuck on campus. Also, If you dont like sports come here because there are none. My advice is dont come here if you are not a Mariine Bio major or a nurse.
