Nebraska Honors, now in its second decade, enhances your college experience by providing a challenging and creative academic program for the most talented and highly-motivated students in Nebraska and across the nation.  The program encompasses a comprehensive collegiate experience, both in the classroom and in the larger campus community.

Nebraska Honors gives you a small college atmosphere with emphasis on personal attention while providing access to the extensive resources and facilities of a major research university.  You will benefit from small classes taught by distinguished faculty and top researchers in a closely-knit Honors community.

All Honors classes apply to graduation requirements by fulfilling general education, major or elective obligations, thus participation in the program allows you to complete your degree in the usual duration of an academic career in your discipline.  Honors students are also enthusiastic participants in campus activities, student government, and the rich cultural life of the campus and the Lincoln community.
