I read with interest the negative comments about UNO. I had a quite different experience. I was totally ready for law school and made the law review, in part because of the mental training I received at UNO. Perhaps the negative comments are from those wanting a party big college atmosphere.

The school is very strong academically if you will take classes seriously and do the work! Other members of my family have / are attending UNO recently and are also very satisfied with the quality of instruction.

In short, I have studied at several schools and found the intellectual challenges at UNO to be excellent prep for law school!

UNO is about shuffling kids through the school as fast as possible. Another thing is, they keep building and building, but they're are only 100 parking spots for 1,000 cars. The teacher's seem to care more about themselves and less about the student. Classes are run like an institution, with no creativeness or diversity. I've spoken to former students who have had similiar classes to me, and everything is the same. I can't stand this school, but I've got no other choice.

UNO is an excellent and cutting edge facility for Computer Science. The South Campus PKI building is state of the art. Programs and resources are available for job placement and learning opportunities.

I'd leave this school and state ASAP if I could afford to go to school outside of Nebraska, but I had to go where my family could afford. This is not a good school by any means necessary. Everyone sticks with their high school friends and the campus is dead all the time. The parking situation is a nightmare. The classes are easy and a waste of time. UNO is the definition of a no-frills (or "thrills") education.
