Positive Negative Neutral Advice
I graduated from Drew last year.Quite Bright
I graduated from Drew last year. Overall I had a positive experience - solid education, met wonderful friends, engaging and accessible faculty, beautiful campus, great international programs. I loved being so close to New York and it is easy to take advantage of what New York has to offer. I would recommend Drew for most students. It should be more difficult to be accepted to this school.

Question
I graduated from Drew about five years ago,Not so bright
I graduated from Drew about five years ago, and all of the negative comments that I am reading about it on this website were valid then as well. Pros: The campus is beautiful, the liberal arts courses are interesting, but don't expect more than that. In terms of job placement, Drew is awful. It is on no one's radar at all. The students are a bunch of arrogant pricks and they were totally irresponsible and self-righteous when I attended. Basicall, Drew is a second rate fall back for many students from NJ that could not get into TCNJ, NYU or any of the better colleges in the tri-state region that require 1300 plus on the SAT. Also, the school markets itself as a safe place for students without Greek Life. In all honesty, Greek Life is essential, and I am sorry, not all frats and sororities are bad. Especially, when it comes time to getting a job upon graduation. Drew does not get it, nor do they understand the value of networking. This is obvious in the way the administration acts and runs things in the alumni department as well. I would not recommend going to Drew. It is not worth the money for what you end up getting. If you are attracted to Drew, and schools like it, try looking at schools in the South that are about half the price - places like Randolph Macon, Roanoke, Sweet Briar or Eckerd. They are much much cheaper and just the same in quality.

Question
The campus is very safe because the areaQuite Bright
The campus is very safe because the area is very quiet and boring. There's a low level of diversity no matter how much ppl try to justify and make excuses, the campus is very white which is something to take into consideration if that's a concern. The campus is quite liberal even though the area isn't. And there's no greek life, and parties have been cracked down on lately so don't expect it to be a major wild butt spanking good time all the time. You have to make your own fun especially on weekends when everyone goes honme.
