NJIT provided me with a lot of opportunities---research, internship then ultimately my dream job in a great company. This is the place where my hard work was greatly rewarded and appreciated. My professors were knew what they are talking about, gave me great advice in my field and treated me like a valuable person. The environment was invigorating and motivating---students are all interested in actual learning. I would recommend NJIT if you want a great academic environment where you can learn, grow and succeed.

Do not get swayed by rumors. True, it is not a party school... the name of the school is New Jersey Institute of Technology where most students major in engineering, architecture and the sciences. If you want a great education and maximum bang for your buck and good job outlook after graduating then this is the place for you. Do not take my word for it: visit the campus, talk to the professors and their research/work experience, check out the opportunities that NJIT has to offer (research, internships, co-op and study programs, jobs, etc.). This is not a place where you can slack, hard-work is required to excell, but when you do it does pay off big time!

Overall is a good school. If you plan to become an engineer NJIT is a good start. Even though there are professors who have issues with themselves. But overall every professor knows what he is talking about when it comes to teaching. If you plan to go to school so you can get laid NJIT is not for you. Majority of girls are ugly ops there are very few girls. What do you think you want to find hot chicks in engineering schools. If you want hot chicks then major english or social sciences. Girls that wants to become engineers they UGLY. NJIT ROCKS !!!!
