This school sucks, what more is there to say? Bunch of hicks, the faculty doesn't give two shits and the students are close-minded rednecks that think highly of themselves. Stay away!

Unfortunately this is an average university, however certain departments lack the proper infrastructure, research and faculty to attract students.Stipends offered are very low as compared to other big-12 schools and the fees are over the roof.I wouldnt suggest OSU for higher education

The OSU English department has the little man's complex. Dull witted obnoxiousness and strong-armed pettiness are both key components of the department. Many of the out-of-touch professors attempt to compensate for their half-baked research papers and lack of scholarly fame by overfilling their gaping egos with fattening delusions of grandeur. Beyond the absolutely absurd, self-serving and life-negating politics that seem to be the rule, the meaningless series of classes and unrealistic exams, as well as general incompetence and arbitrary means of assessing student work make for a nightmarish stay in an otherwise forgettable location, Stillwater. Lots of attitude, little substance. Avoid this den of inequity at all costs.
