Samuel Fuhlendorf is a prick for a grad. advisor. I heard William R. Raun is a slave driver.
In all regards a poor choice of school-Sep 23 2011Business - Management and Administration
In all regards a poor choice of school- Stillwater is by far the worst place to live for anyone with a heartbeat. The school is in constant construction so streets are dirty, unwalkable and dust everywhere. Administration- teachers are smart while you take their class, but unaccessible and uninterested in your success and growth as a person outside of class (not good). Financial aid is slow and people in charge of tuition and payment are simply never working. The system is broken, unfortunately T. Boone's dollars can't fix that.

I think OSU has all the amenities ofMay 13 2011Communications
I think OSU has all the amenities of a decent public university that you can ask for. Great athletics, great school spirit, diverse student population, excellent facilities and academics. You just have to visit and see if it is the right fit for you, talk with people- teachers, students, administrators and get all the information to make a decision. College is a big decision, it is an investment of 4+ years of your life.
This school sucks, whatOct 28 2009Communications
This school sucks, what more is there to say? Bunch of hicks, the faculty doesn't give two shits and the students are close-minded rednecks that think highly of themselves. Stay away!
Unfortunately this is anMay 16 2009Chemistry
Unfortunately this is an average university, however certain departments lack the proper infrastructure, research and faculty to attract students.Stipends offered are very low as compared to other big-12 schools and the fees are over the roof.I wouldnt suggest OSU for higher education
Good, big, well-funded, world-renownedApr 08 2009Business - Management and Administration
Good, big, well-funded, world-renowned state university. Do your research and make sure to compare OSU with other reputable institutions. Visit Stillwater and you'll have your decision made.
The OSU English department has the little man'sMar 24 2005English
The OSU English department has the little man's complex. Dull witted obnoxiousness and strong-armed pettiness are both key components of the department. Many of the out-of-touch professors attempt to compensate for their half-baked research papers and lack of scholarly fame by overfilling their gaping egos with fattening delusions of grandeur. Beyond the absolutely absurd, self-serving and life-negating politics that seem to be the rule, the meaningless series of classes and unrealistic exams, as well as general incompetence and arbitrary means of assessing student work make for a nightmarish stay in an otherwise forgettable location, Stillwater. Lots of attitude, little substance. Avoid this den of inequity at all costs.

The university builds youDec 22 2003Zoology
The university builds you on both academics and learning. It is one of the best in the country when you talk about academics. There are few financial aids and no adequate atmosphere for research work.
