 | Quite Bright | Oklahoma State is the absolute best university to attend in the Big 12. Students are down to earth and almost overly friendly. Academics are competitive. I'm never bored in Stillwater since I'm always busy with classwork, working out at the Colvin, or seeing friends. By the way, Oklahoma State is completely respected and recognized as a quality school. Only those who know nothing about the university have a negative perspective of it. We also have one of the STRONGEST alumni networks in the nation. I don't regret anything about going to school here. | Education Quality: A+, Surrounding City: D+ | | | |

| | Bright | Please truly look at what you are getting yourself into before you enroll at OSU. This is truly the school for most people that are poor students, and could not get in anywhere else. Yes, there are even Texans who could not get accepted to the schools in Texas!! The guys from my high school who attend this school were the ones that wore boots in school, listened to country music, dipped skoal, and drove trucks. Most of the students here are just as redneck as they are. There is NOTHING upscale about this university. Stillwater is in the middle of nowhere, and is a cultural sink hole. OU and TU are much better choices if you are forced to attend college in Oklahoma. Their admission standards are harder, but their campuses are nicer, and not stuck in the middle of farm land. Honestly, OSU is looked down upon in upper society, and you are viewed as having an inferior education or from a small town with meager means.Stay away from this place, and spend your educational dollars more wisely. | Perceived Campus Safety: A-, Faculty Accessibility: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | Oklahoma State is not just about going someplace to live while you get your Bachelor's degree. It is about becoming a part of the OSU family. Students who come here and invest themselves academically, as well as with on campus activities, will really develop a love and attachment for this school. There is a lot of pride on the campus. OSU is also taking major steps to improve their academics over the next few years. The football program isn't the only thing seeing large donations. | Friendliness: A+, Surrounding City: C | | | |
