I choose to come to this school even though I was recieving a lot less scholarship money from them. When I came to visit the campus, everyone was very friendly. The professors I met with were very excited to show me their research and talk about the opportunies here for me. The also have a very strong undergraduate research program, which was another draw for me. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. The university also have many fun events for the student body to participate in. Homecomming and SpringFest are two great weeks. They are working hard to make the campus grow, but they have not sacraficed keeping the current students happy. I have not met a single person who hasn't liked it here.

I feel TU is overpriced and definitely not worth the money. After a year, they seem to not care about what students want. As a former senator, I saw the administration basically say that what commuter students wanted was not important to them even though they represent a good portion of the student body. The student body is not diverse, unlike what the university tries to pride themselves in. The Greek System is alright and the social life is alright, but its nothing to boast about. Some students are friendly, but everyone is really similar. The school isn't very understanding and they are more concerned with making it into an ivy league school- which is near impossible. They should be concerned with giving students what they want, since we pay so much to go here.

Rating - University of Tulsa's College of Law: While the legal education was actually pretty good, if you leave Oklahoma or the surrounding states, you find that the school has no reputation, outside of Petroleum Engineering. It doesn't have a BAD reputation, but it's along the lines of "They have a law school? Why on earth did you go there?"
While I feel the education at Tulsa Law was pretty good, I don't think it was worth the cost. I still owe $70,K and I've been out over 10 years now. And I'm STILL stuck temping.If you can get a scholarship AND wish to be withing a couple hundred miles, University of Tulsa / TU is an excellent choice. But if you seriously want to make the big time, aim higher.
