A general level of ignorance should be expectedNot so brightBusiness - Management and Administration
A general level of ignorance should be expected from the closeminded student body at BJU. Racism and discrimination are rampant at this school. Don't even think about standing up for homosexuals because you'll be ridiculed to no end.

I applied for all sorts of banking jobs in Charlotte and didn't even get an interview. I had a 3.8 GPA because the course work was a joke.

I now need to get a post bac at another university because my degree here is worthless. I'll now have to spend another 60k getting a degree from a reputable school like USC in Columbia.Save your money and go to a real university.

I enjoyed my freshman year especially my membership in the cross-burning club and singing "I'm descended from white trash not a monkey". Spent too much money on the mandatory white socks with all outfits. The anti-incest campaign required great sacrifice but I can well understand its value as does my sister. I feel I am well-prepared for my future career as an itinerant evangelist and gas station attendant.

Question
I loved my three years at BJU.Music - Performance
I loved my three years at BJU. I only attended for graduate school. School seemed a little bit too easy though. I found it frustrating that my fellow students complained when we were given a writing assignment that exceeded three pages, but the overall experience was fantastic.

I think that it is funny that BJU tends to market the school in a way that manipulates the truth about it. I remember hearing that the school had a family atmosphere and that the professors were available for help. I missed the family atmosphere when I was there. In fact, my wife got pregnant while she was in school and the school seemed frustrated at us (married) for thinking we could attempt to finish our degrees. I had professors tell me to email them, but I perceived that they did not want to schedule an extra meeting with me. I think that the marketing department needs to sit down with the entire student body before publishing good marketing slogans. Please don't misunderstand. I LOVE BJU. I would encourage anyone that is a born-again, Spirit-filled, committed Christian to pursue a graduate degree there. If you are going into a ministry field though, consider going to a denominational school for your undergraduate work. Academic inbreeding seems to happen too much at BJU.
