Positive Negative Neutral Advice
For several months, I thought I was theBrightHistory/Histories (art history/etc.)
For several months, I thought I was the only one who was so miserable at FMU. This site shows that the overwhelming majority of FMU students are depressed about their situation. The professors at fmu are horrible and the classes offered are limited you can’t ever get all the classes you need in one semester. They want to keep you taking courses that have no relevance to your major, so you can’t transfer to other schools. It is their strategy to keep students from transferring. The social life here is non-existent. There is literally nothing going on at fmu other than drugs, robbery, and harassment stories. The city of Florence is very unsafe and offers nothing. I don’t think any of the positive comments here are written by students. As someone suggested here, the administration of fmu is working hard to better their image. They have advertisements everywhere but the number of the student body keeps shrinking. I am almost 100% confident they know about this site and they come here to say some nice things about fmu. This is how low fmu it gets here. My 2 cents!!!

Question
Wow! I read through and I agree prettyBrightPhysics
Wow! I read through and I agree pretty much with all the negative posts. I was at FMU for three years with full college scholarship and transferred to Coastal Carolina U. Now I am paying for my school but I know I am getting better education and I have better career prospects. I don't trust any positive posts because FMU has really nothing to offer. It is a depressed place for losers. The administration's concern is only advertising. They spend tons of money advertising and I wouldn't be surprised if FMU's president himself comes to this site to say how much FMU can offer. If so, why didn't he send his son to attend FMU? Why do FMU professors send their kids to Coastal Carolina, Clemson, USC, or others? Simply because they know FMU is the end of the road. If you go to FMU you will have over 80% chances of dropping out or transfer. If you persevere and make it to the graduation, your chances of making a good career is ZERO. If you are lucky, you may end up getting a job that wouldn't require a degree anyway.

Question
At FMU, you are pretty much alone! SomeBrightSocial Work
At FMU, you are pretty much alone! Some professors put on a show of having interest in their students but they only care about themselves. If you are cute white girl, you will get some attention. Many male professors will come after you. If you are plain, unattractive, or black, you become invisible. If you are a black man, they follow you to make sure you aren't going to steal anything. This school is a mecca of racism. I don't how long they can go without making some national news.
