Unless you are going to be a NazareneMay 30 2015Business - Management and Administration
Unless you are going to be a Nazarene minister or a Physician's Assistant, I would not invest my money in Trevecca Nazarene University. With very few exceptions, their undergraduate and graduate programs will not better prepare you for the workplace than many other colleges or universities. Think about it, to become a teacher or nurse in the State of TN, you must pass the same standardized exam regardless of where you went to school. Can TNU better prepare you for that? Even if you answer "yes" then at what cost? At nearly $32K per year undergrad tuition (including room and board), you can go to a State school or other private institution for a fraction of that cost. Of course TNU will attempt to sell you on the importance of a private, faith based education. Their entire executive team all make well over 6-figure incomes, you know, just like Jesus would do. Don't believe me? Go ask. Look up their homes. I'd say look at their cars but the University often provides those to these leaders as well. IMHO, all you are doing by attending TNU is making rich people richer....at your expense. I know because I was suckered in and have both an undergraduate and graduate degree from TNU as well as the benefit of having worked there for nearly 20 years. It's sad to see such debauchery. I'm a sinner too, but I'm not hiding behind religious pretenses such as these.
