The school is not as bad as the punks that go to uh-main or other private schools in the city make it sound. it's an okay school and honestly the main reason people go to uhd is because of its affordability and flexibility. tuition is half of that in uh-main and there's a lot of evening and online classes for the working students, which is the majority of the student body. people come here for the piece of paper rather than the "college experience".

The context of this evaluation is based onSuper BrilliantMath
The context of this evaluation is based on cutting-edge academics. In other words, people who do it for the love of learning and bolstering the cognitive side of humanity?not for a good job.

I am a mathematician engrossed in graduate-school level coursework. I self-study, and as a result, this school has slowly turned into a boring place to waste one's time in; it is almost a detrimental experience. I would be off to graduate school this very moment at UH or UT, had it not been for some totally disparate issues. Thus, I am back in here and pursuing a related degree. It is such a shame that UHD does not offer true higher-level education: Most of it are plain undergraduate degrees and a few useless master degrees.

However, the library is saturated with top-notch, scientific books. Furthermore, they are literally new, as no student ever makes it past the pre-algebra section. I would make good use of that if I were you! If you are a highly intellectual person, you will spend your time in here alone; not even professors will warm up to you: You will scare them off. It seems as though the sudden appearance of a MIT-level student before them is akin to a supernatural apparition.Bottom line is: If you could not care less about your education and just want to obtain a degree to enhance your job prospects, by all means, attend UHD; it will be a walk in the park. On the other hand, if you want to enhance and feed your drive for cognitive illumination, for Christ's sake, go someplace else!

I came to this University because of a problem with my trasfering credits to the Main Campus. I did not want to loose 8 classes if I transfered to UH Main so I choose this campus instead. At first I thought this University was not very good but once i started taking the classes I felt the level of education was on par with other Universities I had attended.
