The teaching staff and the departmental staff are very good to work with. The teachers are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. The coursework was very challenging. The administrative staff, however, is less than mediocre. Administrative staff seems to be focused on attracting new students and regularly overlook the current student body. My biggest disappointment was in the scholarship offerings. Generally scholarships are only offered to first year students. Returning students are generally over looked. I received one scholarship for one year out of the three years attending CEU and applied each year for one. Overall I was very pleased with the teaching staff but very disappointed in the staff trying to keep me attending the school.

CEU offered me an intimate environment that allowed me to explore several different programs. I was able to talk directly to Professors on an almost daily basis. The college offered several focus points for cultural activity. Students who go here really want to be here. Most of the students are serious about there studies and many have gone on to do well at other universities, many of them have teaching positions in colleges across the country. I wish I had taken more classes in the summer and each term and not worried about g.p.a.
I recommend going to the classes that interest you first and taking at least one out of major class that you know nothing about each term.
