WGU will give back what you put into it. You can skate by and pass without learning much if that is all you choose to do. For those that say that a degree from here does not carry to other institutions that is false. I graduated with my Masters in Nursing Education and was accepted immediately into one of the top Nurse Practitioner Schools in the country (Vanderbilt). I have found my learning there to be useful in my current situation, but the course work at Vanderbilt is much more rigorous. I did have to repeat two classes because VB prepares you for their DNP program.

Out of the three universities, I have been too so far Western Governors has been by far the best experience I have ever had at a university. The curriculum is actually worthwhile and I can apply it to my career immediately! My only complaint is that I did not take my undergraduate degree at Western Governor's university because this college is absolutely amazing! Not only are you able to achieve expert IT certifications while attending WGU, but the content of the non-IT certification courses are also extremely thorough and help you develop real world problem solving skills that are desperately needed in the IT industry and not just full of busy work. I recommend this college to everyone who is looking to get the serious knowledge they need for a serious IT career.
This university is AWESOME! If you follow directions and work hard, you have no chance of failure. The instructors and mentors are absolutely available when you need them. Everyone is so helpful and wants you to succeed. This school is very organized from top to bottom. Everyone at this university is more than willing to help when a problem arises. No frustration is involved; everyone is patient and so willing to get things resolved. The education you receive is top notch, but you have to apply yourself.

Western Governors University has enhanced my strengths and minimized my weaknesses to make me a stronger contributor to my company. I am excited about completing my MBA with Western Governors University. My mentor Karon Hatleli is awesome to encourage me to be persistent in achieving my goals. A great motivator to me!
