Mary Washington is a very boring college.BrightBiology
Mary Washington is a very boring college. For the most part, the 'social scene' is talking online and mealtime gatherings. The college tries to schedule events but they are very sporadic and a lot of time there is nothing going on. Hence, most students head home on the weekends. The school opens up few outlets for creativity, therefore a lot of people seem 'blah'. They're also stuck studying most of the time. This is a tough school. The best thing about the college is faculty accessibility. The teachers are there when you need them and are very friendly. If you're in for a college with a challenging academic courseload and don't care about your social life, you can enjoy the beautiful college campus. Otherwise, skip it.

Not really much anymore anyone can say aboutBrightAccounting
Not really much anymore anyone can say about this school. Either you believe the reviews or you believe what the school tells you about itself.

Its also painfully obvious reading some of the positive reviews that the school writes their own reviews. If you would still like to goto this school all you have to do to get in is basically have a heartbeat. They accept almost everyone. They accept so many unqualified people that they have a transition program prior to freshman year to try to help these kids not flunk and drop out (money the school loses through tuition, books, etc). This school is a joke.

I transferred here my senior year and I REGRET coming here so much. Surrounding city UNSAFE, people get mugged on campus, I've seen hobos multiple times on campus begging for money, a girl was raped in the parking garage, HUGE STD problem (HPV). Administration is dishonest. Really have nothing good to say about this school other than the campus is pretty. My best advice, don't go here.
