So far at old dominion i have beenNot so bright
So far at old dominion i have been jumped twice by black people and one of the times put in the hospital. I have been robbed once. They provide little to no security and students are at risk. I would never tell anyone to go to this school. GO TO a safer school where you dont get taunted by "towns" people...if you know what i mean.

Question
I love ODU it's self, but the studentsBright
I love ODU it's self, but the students in the org. are snooty. What ever you do don't waste your time trying to get into the SGA unles you belong to some frat, sority, or honor org. I tried for several months to get into the sga before they finilly accepted my app. Than I did everything that they told me to get in for example I went to all the meetings and was on time, did my vol. work on main street and my office hours, talked to the other students about what the org did and even got some to show up for meetings and wanted to join. When it came time to vote the only students that got in were the ones that were in a frat, sority, or honor society. Which by the way is the same people who are in and run the sga, so don't waste your time trying to join its nothing but a clique anyways. Other than that i really like the school and most of its teachers and staff.

Question
Here are crime alerts emailed out by oduNot so bright
Here are crime alerts emailed out by odu to the students in the month of September so far. I'm sure are more incidents, but these are the ones the school decided to share with everyone. ODU is not safe. It is a crap hole.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., an ODU member was robbed in the stairwell of the Mills Godwin Building. The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches, wearing all black clothing.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. a non-ODU student was robbed by two teenage black males with a gun in the vicinity of England House. ODU police have security details canvassing the area. Please exercise caution and alert police to any suspicious activity. At approximately 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, a student was accosted by 4 to 5 black males and robbed of his wallet in the vicinity of 40th Street and Bluestone Avenue. No weapon was used. The suspects fled on foot.
